My Favourite Cafes

Cafe Letka

From the outside, the building is pretty non-assuming, but when you go through the big red door you are greeted to the most beautifully decorated cafe.

The food is delicious, pancakes for breakfast or honey-glazed brie in the evening.

This cafe is located in Prague 7 which is my favourite district in the city because it’s where the National Gallery is and it seems to have hundreds of bars, cafes, and clubs to discover.

Kafe Francine

Another great spot in Prague 7, located right outside of the tram stop, you could hop off in the morning, grab a coffee here and then continue on the tram to the centre.

Kafe Francine roast all their coffee on sight, they serve amazing cakes and delicious open sandwiches.

This cafe is always filled with people drinking multiple coffees and doing some work, so don’t be afraid to do the same, get settled and hibernate from cold Prague.

Cafe Fin

With Vietnamese owners, Cafe Fin takes a really interesting twist on the usual brunch menu. It is always busy so you might have to wait for a seat but I can assure you that the food here is worth the wait!

Smetenaq

One of the most beautiful, stylish cafes in Prague it’s a great spot along the river to grab a coffee or a bite to eat. It’s also perfect for people watching, you can sit in one of their huge window seats and watch Prague go by, or sit and watch the stylish people coming in and out of the cafe.

Scout Institute

When you are in Old Town Square, it can be difficult to find a cup of coffee that isn’t an overpriced tourist trap or Starbucks, but the Scout Institute is a total hidden gem.

Nestled right next to the famous astronomical clock, the entrance is marked Prague Creative Center and just head up the stairs.

When you reach the cafe it’s like a safe haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, the coffee is cheap and always filled with students. In my opinion, it’s the only place to stop for a drink in Old Town Square.

Doing some work in the Scout Institute

Kampus Hyberneska

This is another cheap, hidden spot in the city centre. The coffee is great, the cakes are delicious and it’s another place where you can spend all day doing work where no one will bother you.

They hold different events around the cafe so keep an eye out, I went to a Salsa night there once!

Coffee Room

Yet another stylish cafe that serves potentially the best brunch in the city. This place is very popular so you might have to wait to get a table on the weekend.

The Farm

With delicious food and a laidback vibe this cafe is located right near Letna Park so make sure you have a wonder here once you’ve finished up in the cafe!
